BRANDYWINE, MARYLAND

This page is for people who are visually impaired or technically challenged. There are no other text-only pages on this site at present. This page also has no coloring that might interfere with viewing. The font size can be adjusted in your browser. This page can also serve as a sitemap.

This site was designed to provide information about the town of Brandywine in the state of Maryland on most every conceivable topic plus offering forums for communication. If you are planning to use this site regularly and could benefit by the creation of more text-only pages or some other method with which I could assist you, please let me know by emailing me at web@brandywinemd.com.

This page contains information about the design of this site in consideration of the visually impaired and technically challenged. There is also a list of links and descriptions of those pages.

For the visually impaired: Many people who are visually impaired use readers. I have not used frames on this site to make the use of readers easier. For those who increase the size of their font, I have used primarily flexible font sizes rather than actual sizes. I have also tried to use colors that are compatible for most color blind persons. I hope this helps in viewing this site. Tables are used throughout the site except on this page. Please let me know by emailing me at web@brandywinemd.com if the tables interfere with your reader.

For the technically challenged: We are all to some degree "technically challenged" since the technology changes every day and we can't possibly know it all. I've tried to make this site quick to download for slow servers and usable by all browsers. If you clicked on the link to this page because the page was not loading, it may be because a link to an image or service on another site is slow. You may want to go back to the home page and try again, either being patient or clicking the stop button on your browser after several seconds of waiting time - hopefully you will be able to view most of the page at that point. If that doesn't work, I have found that sometimes my browser has problems after being open for quite a while and I need to quit the program and restart it. If you do this, please remember to come back to BrandywineMD.com. This site also contains some JavaScript, so if it's not enabled on your browser, you will not be able to view the effects of that script and it could cause problems with your browser. If you have any other problems, please email me.
