CLINTON COLUMN FOR AUGUST 22, 2002
It is so sad to see leaves already leaving the trees, but with the weather the way it has been, I suppose it had to happen. Of course, we all knew that fall would be here eventually, but it seems a shame to have a reminder so soon.
Although I have never done it myself (through procrastination), I understand that the John Wilkes Booth Escape Route bus tour is something everyone should take. Surratt House is planning to have two tours in September, one on September 7, and the other on September 21. Advanced registration is required, so it would be a good idea for you to call 301-868-1121 as soon as possible.

A cheerleading competition will be taking place at North County Knights Parent Booster Club in Glen Burnie on October 12 (rain date October 19) at the North County High School Stadium.
