CLINTON COLUMN FOR JUNE 12, 2003
Happy Father's Day this Sunday to all the fathers out there.
The local Democratic Clubs (Ft. Washington/Accokeek, Surratts-Clinton, and Brandywine) had their annual picnic on June 5 in Accokeek at a really wonderful picnic spot on the water. We had quite a few people there, with lots of food, drinks, and games to play. Senator Miller and Delegate Vallario were part of the folks in attendance, with Julian Fink entertaining us with his guitar and great voice. We will not be having meetings during the summer, but will start again in the fall. If you are a Democrat and want to become a "good" Democrat, why don't you join us. Call me and let me know where you live and I will tell you which would be the closest for you. Of course, there are also clubs in other areas.
