CLINTON COLUMN FOR APRIL 17, 2003

By the time you read this, I am hoping the weather forecasters are right, and the sun is out and nice and warm. With all the rain we have had, we should not likely have a drought this year. At least, I hope not. How about you?

Surratts-Clinton Democratic Club had another interesting meeting this month, with David Paulson, and Otis Ducker as speakers, along with some new members. If you are a Democrat, and you live in the Clinton area, this is a good club for you to join. We meet on the second Tuesday of each month at Mama Stella's, and we have a nice buffet for $11 after the meeting. Call me if you are interested.

Surratts-Clinton Democratic Club is sponsoring a Town Hall meeting on May 14 at 7 pm at the Surratts-Clinton Library on Piscataway Road. Discussion topics will be stress on the infrastructure, the increased demand on water and sewer systems, and organized crime. There will be two panels, one a panel of citizens, and the other a panel of notables from the 27th District.

Since I know that there are people who read this column who live in other areas, I want to give you some information on Democratic clubs in other areas.
